Sister Irma Kessler
  Sister Irma Kessler is a Sister of Charity of Saint Elizabeth (since 1951). She received her Ph.D. in Zoology from the University of Maine in 1975. Her research in the Zoology Department centered on developmental cell biology of gland cells in Hydra. In 1979 after spending four years on the faculty of Seton Hall University, she joined the the Biology Department at the College of Saint Elizabeth, where she is active in teaching Embryology, Physiology, Histology, Pathophysiology, Human Genetics, Concepts of Biology and Senior Seminar. Additional campus activities include teaching computer workshops and assisting Faculty, Staff and Administrators.
She was vice president (1997-2001) and homepage webmaster (1997-2002) for the Northern New Jersey chapter of the Association of Women in Computing (AWC). More complete professional information is available.

Fall 1998 (September 10 - 24) Sister Irma traveled to mainland China as a delegate to the China Women's Association of Science and Technology.
